親鸞聖人の出現は私一人のためであった

Shinran Shonin came into this world for my benefit alone.

この世のことは　何事も何事も　お念仏の助縁

Everything in this world is interconnected by the Nembutsu.

世の中に最も度し難いものは他人ではない　この私

The most hopeless person in the world to be saved is not someone else—it is I!

When I encounter something that is true and correct, I come to know that I am not always right.

われもたすかり、人もたすかるというのが仏教の教え

Through the Buddha's teaching, everyone is saved—not only myself, but others as well.

「まこと」のひとかけらもない私に 仏さまから差し向けられた「まこと」

The Buddha directs Truth to me, someone who does not possess even a shard of it.

念仏というのは私に現れた仏の行い

The Nembutsu is the manifestation of the Buddha's salvific working for my sake.

生の依りどころを与え、死の帰するところを与えていくのが南無阿弥陀仏

Namo Amida Butsu is the authentification of receiving life in this world and going to the Pure Land after death.

一人一人がお浄土を飾っていく一輪一輪の花になる

Each and every one of us, one by one, becomes a flower to adorn the Pure Land.
